Packaging
We have carefully chosen the most sustainable packaging available on the market.
Wildflower Seed Paper Mail Out Cards:
Our seed paper is made from 100% tree free cotton paper that will sprout flowers when planted. This blend of seeds was chosen to ensure that regardless of your growing region, some of the seeds embedded will flourish. The paper contains all of the following US origin wildflower seeds:
Snapdragon (Annual), Petunia (Annual), Beardtongue (Perennial), Daisy (Perennial), Thyme (Perennial), Poppy (Annual), Foxglove (Biennial/Perennial), Catchfly (Biennial/Perennial), Maiden Pinks (Perennial) and Chamomile (Perennial).
Planting instructions: Plant this paper in a pot or garden. Cover with 1/8” of soil and keep moist until established. The plants tolerate partial shade and need 4 hours a day of direct sunlight. Germination may begin as quickly as one week or may take up to six weeks depending on your regional growing zone. Flowers will grow to about 3'.
Compostable mailing parcels:
These 11x14 black parcel mailers are 100% compostable and are made with non GMO cornstarch and BPAT. They break down into carbon dioxide, water and organic fertilizer in about 90-180 days, unlike regular plastic bags which are estimated to take about 20 years to break down. They are certified for industrial and home composting. Additionally, the parcel manufacture gives back by donating 5% of profits to the Rainforest Trust for the protection of our Amazon Rainforest.
Compost instructions: It is best to dispose of these mailers in industrial composting facilities or home compost. Just like food waste, compostable plastics trapped in landfills are missing the ideal mixture of moisture, heat and oxygen so they take longer to degrade.
The following are some suggestions for those who do not have a home compost available. Discard compostable mailers in a green trash bin if available. Garden waste from these bins are taken to the city's composting site. Start a small at home compost or locate a local composting service.
If you do not have any of the above available, discard the mailer in the regular trash bin as these mailers are not made to go in the recycling bin. They will still decompose at the landfill, just at a much slower rate. It takes 6 months under non-ideal conditions to begin breaking down, which is still much better than the 20 year breakdown of regular plastic bags.
100% recycled mailing parcels:
*We are currently working to obtain compostable alternatives for this size. These 6x9 white parcel mailers are made from 100% recycled materials and are 100% recyclable. They are also equipped with a dual self adhesive strip for reuse.
Zero waste thermal labels:
Our thermal shipping labels are made from 100% recycled materials and are 100% recyclable, unlike most shipping labels used today. Thermal also eliminates the need for ink cartridges = less waste!
Tissue paper:
Our tissue paper is made from recycled paper pulp and is recyclable.

Partnering with eco-conscious manufacturing facilities help minimize our carbon footprint. These garment's manufacture has implemented zero-waste programs, solar energy efforts and energy exchange processes. Additionally, non-harmful chemicals are used in the dying process while using seven times less water than the industry average.
